Best

Villa Sport is the best thing to happen to fitness and recreation in Colorado Springs. EVER. From the pools and water parks, hundreds of classes per week, instructors, trainers,...

Worst

The music they play throughout the club is really bad. Some sort of ghastly 80s mix. I love music but not that and not when when I'm trying to listen to a podcast or the TV with...

I wouldn't 12/10/2012

Very disappointing! The management is aweful. They do not take members complaints or suggestions seriously, instead they just make up excuses and are condescending to their members. The child care is marginal. The instructors are way too into themselves and do not try to help members but they just stick to their own agenda no matter how the class feels about the exercises or concern for getting hurt while doing the exercises. They raise prices for no reason and are way too overpriced for what you get. \r The Woodlands does not have a lot to offer in terms of health clubs so you are pretty much stuck with a lack luster, badly managed, don't give a damn attitude overpriced facility. more

Music is dreadful 8/30/2011

The music they play throughout the club is really bad. Some sort of ghastly 80s mix. I love music but not that and not when when I'm trying to listen to a podcast or the TV with headphones. Wrote the manager, he said he'd turn it down (and didn't). Hey pal, how about turn it OFF? Look around, everyone has I Pods or is listening to the TV. We don't want your 80's rock!! It sucked back in the 80's!! It hasn't aged well. more

Happy Member since opening day 1/7/2011

Villa Sport is the best thing to happen to fitness and recreation in Colorado Springs. EVER. From the pools and water parks, hundreds of classes per week, instructors, trainers, management, and all staff, equipment; I would have no reason to consider going elsewhere. The cost is more than what would be paid at 24-hour or Gold's, etc. But absolutely everything at Villa is above every other facility in town, too. Cost VS. benefits....I come out way ahead. more

bureaucrats - terrible customer service 12/28/2010

Gym is overpriced and if you ever have a customer service issue be prepared for the corporate run around! \r We have been members since Colorado Spring has opened (now we are members in the Woodlands). We have always paid our bills on time and we have brought countless members to Villa Sport. We asked for our membership to remain on hold while my wife had complications with her pregnancy and you took us off hold without notification. How about a phone call? A letter? Then we get the corporate run around about how noone has the authority to refund our membership dues for the period. We had a baby in the NICU and thousands of dollars in medical bills and all you do is kick those that are down. What kind of organization is this that treats people like this. I would expect this type of treatment from a bookie not a high class fitness club. High class gym? Low class organization is the way I feel. Corporate run around. Spoken to 20 people, noone can seem to pull the trigger. On more

Wonderful facility and staff! 6/6/2010

I absolutely love this health club. It's like taking a vacation without leaving! Yes, it is expensive, but the service is over the top, the facility is gorgeous, the equipemnt is plentiful and high quality. The women's locker room has a sitting area, nice wood fixtures and lockers, all shower gels, hair dryers, etc available. The huge whilpool, steam room and sauna are in the women's area so you can relax and be yourself. There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools and lap pools, with a snack bar/grill (with margaritas!) pool side. There is another snack bar in the lobby with Starbucks, salads, nutrional items, etc. Villa Spa has a full service spa for massages, etc but I haven't tried that Pros: great equipment, multiple pools, luxury locker rooms Cons: exensive but worth it, no racquet sports more

looks like a nice gym but very disorganized birthday party 11/23/2009

it was a birthday party for a 6 yr old but there were kids of all ages present. The teenagers running the birthday party didn't have a clue - planned dogdeball for the younger kids - many of which left the room crying. The food was cold and they ran out of food and drinks. The didn't allow outside food (except cake) and the pizza they served to the kids was terrible - small personal pizzas that must have been previously frozen for years and then nuked in a microwave. I will would never pay to have a party there. Pros: huge facility Cons: birthday party was chaos more
