Villa Serena

I moved to Henderson from California and this is the place I stayed at with my family...At first I was really happy with what we got, but then quickly realized, it's not all that it may seem to be....They definitely have a good gym and pool (when its open)...But, I noticed that our dishwasher would not clean the dishes...After looking at the heater element inside the dishwasher, it had just about a quarter of an inch thick, build up of calcium deposit insulating the entire element. I had asked the maintenance guy how to get this cleaned out and he gave me a mayonnaise jar filled with chemicals to pour into the dishwasher and said make sure to run your dishwasher approximately 7 times before putting any dishes in it...I decided to first break off as much of the build up I could so the dishes would dry. At that time, I also realized that the holes in the spinner that the water comes out of, to clean the dishes, was clogged with the same crap. So I had to take apart the components and cle more

This is a great little apartment complex off the bus line. I didn't think about it before I moved in there, but without the bus line near by, only people who can afford cars can live there. This may sound snobby, but because of that, it was quieter. I had one child at the time, but there wasn't a lot of kids in the neighborhood, which also was a reason it was quieter. My only complaint was with one pool. They had numerous problems and it was closed too often. more
