Casual Italian / Great Value 2/13/2008

Great food for a reasonable price. You have to go when they have their mid-week specials. All you can eat stuffed shells are the best. bring a bottle of wine and it just doesn't get any better. Casual atmosphere and delicious food, with a courteous staff! Big thumbs up more

Great local Italian food and pizza 3/25/2006

Villa Rosa Restaurant is a great little eatery right on Lafayette in Hawthorne. It is a smaller restaurant but has a great family feel and more importantly excellent food. It can get really crowded on a Friday or Saturday night so go early or a little later. There is always take out available as well. Be sure to bring cash or check because they do not take credit cards. It is also a BYOB place- which is actually a really nice thing for me because then we do not spend a fortune on drinks. They normally have specials mid week that are a great value. So if you can go on a Tuesday, Wednesday or a Thursday, definitely shoot for that. This is a great place! more

Good food for a good price 10/3/2005

This little family owed Restaurant and Pizzeria has really great food for reasonable prices. You can bring your own wine if you so choose. All their food is really good, but I recommend the Veal Villa Rosa, it is really delicious. more

Not great as my fav! 8/17/2005

This pizzeria is not that great as my favourite pizza hut. It does come considerably close to Dominos. Although I sill do not like dominos. But the chicken wings in here is the best thing that you could get. Yummy chicken wings with their BBQ sauce. Just melts in your mouth. more

Great Italian Food/Great prices! 7/13/2005

We love this little store front family run restaurant. They have the best stuffed shells and run specials Tuesday, Wednesday & Thurs that include soup, salad, all-you-can-eat main course, coffee/tea, and dessert - all for under $10! Very casual atmosphere with many small tables that they will put together for larger parties. B.Y.O.B. Cash only - they don't accept credit cards. more
