We have been patrons of this restaurant since it was called Frankies. It has had several names over the years. Now it is Villa Roma and the last 5 or 6 times we have been there the service has been awful however the pizza has remained wonderful. Last night we placed our usual to go order and when we got it home and opened the box, we were sure there was some mistake...it was thinner then paper, hardly any cheese, no exterior crust at all...nothing like it normally is (the crust actually looked like they forgot the yeast). So I called the restaurant and asked if they had changed the pizza and I was told yes. I asked to speak to the manager and I was told that she was not there. I asked how I could get in touch with the owner and I was told by Mark that he did not know how to reach the owner. I said you have no manager present and no way to reach the owner....is that correct and he replied yes. My husband took the pizza back and the lady at the bar looked at the pizza and said it did look bad. She went back to the kitchen and came back and said that they were told to make them that way from now on. Needless to say my husband left the pizza there and we will not be returning.....nor will we be referring anyone to them.
