Today my husband and I went to Villa House of Pizza, located on U.S.19 just south of Ridge Road. We actually passed it to make a left turn and then headed back. There was parking at the front and the side of the building.
Upon entering the restaurant we saw a large board with the menu on it. Obviously they do a big take-out and delivery service.
We were seated at a booth and the owner came over and gave us menus. I ordered the Lasagna ($6.75) and my husband, a Steak and Cheese sub with mushrooms, cheese, and onions ($5.95).
The food was amazing. My husband got a 12 inch sub, and my food looked good, and the taste was just perfect.
We chatted to the owner for awhile and was introduced to Newton, the chef, who prepares wonderful Italian food from scratch. He had worked at a well known restaurant in New York for 18 years.
The restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms. This is a no frills restaurant where you get your money's worth.
We left feeling full and contented. We shall return. I have been told that they are planning, an all you can eat buffet, when that happens I will up-date my review.
