My husband had quintuple by-pass surgery in 1994, and being insulin dependent diabetic, was told that the surgery would only last a few years.
We had been to another doctor and basically told everything was fine. We insisted on having a second opinion and as soon as we saw the doctor they arranged for his surgery. He had one stent put in but one artery remains blocked.
They listened to me and took the correct action. Thank you.
