Stay Away from this place unless you want to come down with food sickness and a severe case of flu! I attended a baby shower at this place on 08-29-09, the food was just plain awful, no service to speak of, water was provided in a large utility cooler! Saw them actually re-heat the food in a mircowave in the back before bringing it out to serve. At least 40 people out of the around 200 that attented got sick with either food sickness and flu! just went recently to mirch masala on lavista rd and really liked the food. non-veg dishes like chicken tikka masala,tandoori chicken,lamb kebabs,tandoori platter, chicken nilgiri(in mint sauce, wow wow MUST TRY DISH)and many more are the best . veg dishes like palak paneer(spinach&cottage cheese),veg curry are also very good. We went several times to try to give it a fair shake, but it just doesn't meet our expectations. These folks took over Maharajah's location, but it's nowhere near as good at executing Indian cuisine as the previous owners were. The Chicken Makhani was full of unpleasant little bits of bone and gristle. The only reason I'm giving it an ""Average"" rating instead of a ""Below Average"" is because the buffet seems decent enough, and they do bring you never-ending bowls of fresh naan as part of the buffet. Our servers have always been polite; I just wish the food wasn't such a disappointment. I've heard that the original Mirch location is better, but I haven't tried that. Even if you're having a craving for Indian food, you can do better than this lackluster offering.
