Vietnam One

We have been eating at Vietnam One for several years. When we first started eating here, service was spotty at best. But over the years they have learned, and now we always get good service. Don't expect fancy dining, and don't expect high prices. Everything here works, from food to service to price. Pros: tofu options, vermicelli dishes, prices Cons: can get crowded more

I love this place, I usually get take out but I have stayed and eatin once with a friend. The were packed from wall to wall but we quickly got a table. They were prompt with our order and the food came fast and it was fresh. The pho was really good, nice fresh herbs and the broth was perfect, the noodles were not mushy and it came with all the good stuff on the side to add what I wanted. My daughter enjoyed her chicken and vegi dish which had a good amount of chicken and veg. We were a little confused when they didn't bring our check and we were done, but after asking we were told to pay up front, once that was straightened out we quickly got checked out and for three people it was under 30$ even with the tip! Great value, yummy pho! Check out could have been explained better but now that I know shouldn't be a problem in the future. Highly recomend. I saw this place as I was driving back from work. Looked like maybe it could be a hidden find. Small storefront tucked into a side area of a very small strip mall. There are several other Vietnamese restaurants in that area, so I figured it would be need to be contender to stay open. Not true. The food was decent to good, but not great. I had Vermicelli and grill meats, some of my favorite items at a Vietnamese restaurant. The food was good enough to bring me back. Not good enough to rave about, but solid. But the service. Worst than bad. My teenaged waitress sat at the table in front of me chatting with her girlfriend during my whole meal. She was slow to take my order, and she never came to my table again after I got my food. Even after I took my empty water glass and empty tea mug and sat them on the far end of the table by the aisle, she didn't get it. I didn't get a check, so I went to the cash register to pay. She pop up to the register to brightly asked if there was a problem. She was absolutely shocked when I said yes. I explained why and she tried to laugh and giggle it away. Pros: Ok food.
