My decade long 'affair' with Victor's may be ending. The 30.00 Violet's special promised sauteed gulf shrimp, scallops, lump crabmeat, asparagus, and red pepper finished with a Cognac cream sauce and lobster raviolis. My friend and I were served a hand full of gulf shrimp arranged in a pinwheel surrounded by a few overcooked, fried lobster raviolis and the sauce. This is the second time in recent months that I have had this experience. I love the atmosphere at Victor's, but dining out for me is about the food!
Pros: Great atmosphere and friendly servers
Cons: Costly dinners that are not what was promised
