I brought my cat, Cardinal, to Veterinary Trauma Center when I accidentally backed over her. My normal vet was going to have me drive into Orlando to a big clinic to get the surgery on her leg, Doctor Stone was able do the surgery right there. He was also able to prescribe a rehab therapy to help her get back up and good as new. more

Our other family Doctor 6/27/2011

When my dog was bitten by a rattle snake the other Veterinarian wanted us to drive all the way to Maitland to get him taken care of. We found the Veterinary Trauma Center with an online search and saved ourselves the long drive. I don't know that our pet would have survived the hour drive out of town. Dr. Stone and his staff were able to save him and was only 8 minutes from our Groveland home. Over the years Dr. Ronald Stone and his staff have taken care of the four legged members of our family with the kind of care and compassion that you would hope to find in a family Doctor. We love our pets and they are our family. We really do consider him our other family Doctor and we are thankful to have him right here in our community. more

Wonderfully compassionate 9/23/2005

We had a situation on Memorial Day. Our cat became very sick and was struggling to breathe. After calling several places this was the one place open for us. They called the doctor in and had us bring Max over ASAP. Max didn't survive. The staff & doctor were both very compassionate towards our loss. more

    Cardiac, GI and Cancer medical services are also available for dogs and cats.

    Aside from in-house laboratory testing, other sophisticated diagnostics such as contrast radiography, ultrasonography and endoscopy are also provided.

    Chief of Staff, Dr. Ronald Stone has over thirty years of experience including a Clinical Assistant Research Professorship in Surgery at the University of Miamis School of Medicine.
