I took my dog there to see a ""kidney specialist"", an old idiot who let my dog die, didn't reccomend fluids, special food, etc., when I called and called, never returned my calls...

VSC the Best ! 2/8/2012

My journey started in 2007 when a vet told me that my cat was bored and only gave me a spray for his constant chewing of his right rear leg. After 2 animal hospitals and 4 veterinarians later, I was referred to Dr.Noonan at veterinary Specialty Center.She was able to find the bacteria that was eating his leg but also worked endlessly in an effort to save his leg, unfortunately this aggressive bacteria, nocardia, had done too much damage. Dr Robbins at VSC did the necessary amputation and made it possible to return a healthy cat to me. I read reviewers complain that its pricey but these are highly educated professionals, whom I believe did what others could not. I would highly recommend Veterinary Specialty Center ! more

FANTASTIC HOSPITAL THAT CARES 6/30/2005

When our dog (a child to us) fell awkwardly on his hind leg we were referred to this hospital by our local vet as it was beyond their capability to fix. Once we got there we were not hopeful of saving our dogs leg, because this kind of injury is very common to labradors but very hard to fix. So hard in fact that most vets recommend just amputating the leg. This wasn't the case with this hospital. They told us it would be a difficult surgery but they would fix our dogs leg and he would heal fine. Not only did they fix it, they treated him wonderfully. The cost of his surgery and all the follow up visits was inexpensive in our view. We were expecting to pay a lot more especially when you see the clinic. It looks like the Doggie Hilton where pets get pampered on vacation, not like a hospital. So we were very surprised to see the bill was not high. We would highly recommend this surgery if your pet has something that your local vet cannot fix. more
