MY EXPERIENCE AT VET SELECT 9/29/2011

I TOOK MY PRECIOUS CAT HERE AFTER TAKING HIM TO ANOTHER VET 3 TIMES WITH NO DIAGNOSIS FOUND FOR ANOTHER OPINION. A COUPLE OF PEOPLE RECOMMENDED THEM. I WAS HESITANT BECAUSE OF A REVIEW I READ BUT I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED. THEY WERE TRULY CARING AND ALTHOUGH THE DIAGNOSIS WAS DEVASTINING AT LEAST I KNEW WHAT I WAS DEALING WITH SO I COULD START DEALING WITH WHAT I NEED TO GO THROUGH AND GIVE SIMBA ALL THE CARE I CAN UNTIL HE LETS ME KNOW IT TIME. THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL AND ALTHOUGH WE ALL WORRY ABOUT THE FEES VET'S CHARGE, THEY DID NOT TRY TO DO MORE THEN THEY NEEDED TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS/I WILL REMAIN LOYAL AS LONG AS THIS STAFF IS THERE SINCE I HAVE 3 ANIMALS (KIDS) more

WAY OVER PRICED/NOT TRUST WORTHY 3/2/2010

I took my mixed breed dog here because it was near home. They insist that you bring your animal in every 6 months for a wellness visit. They give you vaccinations that are bi-annual instead of annual and don't tell you that it is offered in an annual vac. They push for un-needed tests. They wanted to draw blood every six months, etc. They also told me that they wouldn't give me a prescription to Pet Meds because Pet Meds sell expired meds and that they would not meet their price. Spent over $300.00 per visit 2 times a year on a Healthy Dog!!!! and the Pet Meds thing is a LIE Cons: Charge too much more

AWEFUL! RATING IS 0!!!!! 3/16/2009

They try to up sell you to the MAX! You can't trust their advice all they care about is the money. I've been over charged a few times, then when they want me to see their cardiologist for my PERFECTLY HEALTHY dog, I decided to get a second opinion, in which I found out that he is just fine. So don't trust them thank god I didn't or I would be out 500 for just diagnostics and who knows after that how many "procedures" they would try to do. GO TO MEDOWBROOK VET at 10 and Medowbrook Rd Pros: front desk is nice Cons: WAYY OVER PRICE more
