This lady was VERY, VERY rude. I planned to get my bridesmaids here, and ignored her rudeness when we were initially there. I later called to ask how much a professional measurement would cost, because I'm buying a used dress online, and need to know my exact size. She asked if a was buying my dress there, when I told her no, she hung up on me. I called back to explain i was planning on buying my bridesmaid dresses there, and was yelled at me so bad i couldn't even reply !! She then told me to ""shut up,shut up"", when I did try to reply, and hung up again. I will definitely never deal with this lady again and let everyone i know the same. She also has a TERRIBLE SELECTION OF WEDDING GOWNS.. save yourself the hassle and the trip. I'm glad I found out what a crazy B**CH she is before I committed to getting all my bridesmaids dress here !! more

She initially said that my fitting would be free if I ordered at her shop and so would my bridesmaid if she also ordered there. So of course I jumped at the chance to save a little cash and ordered right away. On my second fitting she said she would have to charge me for the cups to be put into my dress. I said fine and paid for it. She then told me that my bridesmaid's dress would be in and she needed to make an appointment for her fitting. She said my bridesmaid had a remaining balance and needed to pay for her fitting. What a minute!!! The fitting was suppose to be free so why are we being charged? Her reply was ""every bridesmaid pays"" so I said put her fitting on my credit card. She said she did and I left. My bridesmaid went to pick up her dress one week after her fitting. She wanted to pay the remaining balance and take the dress home. The owner charged her $46 more than the dress was suppose to cost. My bridesmaid told her that the fitting was already taken care of. The owner said she had no record of it and wouldn't give her the dress unless the entire amount was paid. So she paid it and left. I went into Vesas with the reciept that I paid for her fitting. She argued with me that I had paid for MY FITTING not my bridesmaid's. Again, wasn't this suppose to be free initially??? She refused to refund my bridesmaid's money. So, she scammed us out of a total of $113 between the two fittings that she said would be free if I ordered there. The owner went on to say that if I had two bridesmaids order at her shop my fitting would have been free. What a scam!!! See, the problem isn't paying for fittings...the problem is being lied to and told that they were free then changing the story and charging our credit cards with money and not informing us of what she was charging for. Please, ladies go to another botique!!! This was just one incident we had with Vesas...I could go on with the fiasco with the fitting and the groom and best man's tux. Again, please find a better place to order!!! Pros: THERE ARE NONE!!! Cons: The owner scams you out of money!!! more

If I could give this a negative rating I would...because our two visits to this shop were beyond unacceptable. How the owner thinks she can treat customers the way she does is utterly inconceivable. Now that I read the others reviews, the bride and I (the MOH) would never do business with her...thank you for warning us! The way she treated us should have clued us in! Her idea of customer service is rude remarks like ""that's your problem not mine"" and ""I don't care if you buy it elsewhere."" She made my jaw drop time and time again. Fortunate for my bride, another shop tracked down the dress we wanted from Vesa and we found out that she lied to us about the maker!! I had ordered my gown - it was what I wanted and at the time it included the alteration price...she assured me that the alterations (hem) and bustle would be no problem - they were a huge problem!!! I ordered a dress with intricate beadwork (Jasmine C127) along the bottom and even though she could have ordered it to fit without alterations (found this out later) seeing as I had my shoes - she chose not to do so...she took the dress up at the waist level and totally ruined the look of the dress...the fabric was bunched around my waist and it was painful at the fitting - she insisted I had gained weight - in fact I had lost 10 lbs at this point, but that did not matter...she cut the fabric and did a so-so bustle that was too high/too low on each side, which she promised she would fix - she did not! The girls dresses were also not altered correctly....needless to say I would not recommend this store! more

My fiancee called to request more information about some bridesmaids dresses. She begain to explain the dress to the lady and gave her the product number. The lady then proceeded to tell her that she didn't have time to talk with my fiancee and that she would have to come into the store because she was helping another customer and she hung up on my fiancee. Pros: Non Cons: Doesn't know how to assist customers, no patience, talks over customers, HANGS UP ON YOU more

Excellent service from the time I started shopping to the day I picked up my gowns! more

I was extremely happy with the service I received at first. Everyone was plesant, remembered me and used my name, got excited when I got excited--especially the younger lady that works there. She was very sweet to me. They were helpful with ordering dresses and keeping me updated. And then the dresses came in...what a different story. (Let me take you back a few weeks before the dresses came in). My good friend's aunt just got married and everyone got their dresses from Vesa's. NONE of the dresses fit properly. Every lady was ""showing a little more skin"" than deemed proper for a wedding. The dresses were not fixed correctly. Then my sister went to the store for my wedding and my mother was present also. Vesa herself told my mother and sister that she didn't know if the alterations she would make would fix the problem. She also told my my that she could ""only make a dress bigger or smaller."" (She was referring to a seem, which, in hindsight, explained the poor job from my friend's aunt's wedding--she can not alter around hips, bust, etc.) My sister said she'd think about it and come back and Vesa pulled the pins out and said ""if you come back it will cost you more because I've pinned it already."" Needless to say, we all pulled our dresses out of there--one month before the wedding. I'm getting married at the end of June.Turns out she also told my friend's grandmother something along the lines of: if she didn't like the work, to do it herself. Not a good way to run a business. But I took my dress to Alessandra's Bridal in Warren. She really knows what she is doing. Save yourself a trip. Don't go to Vesa's unless you either 1)don't care if the dress fits or 2)know someone who will do alterations in-house and cheap. I needed vesa's number to pass on to a friend so when I looked it up i saw the above post and had to comment. Vesa's could not be better. I have delt with them on MANY occasions, first as a bridesmaid, and then as a bride, and I have MANY girlfriends who have also found there perfect dress at vesa's. They are extremely helpful, and could not be any nicer. They learn your name and remember it! They deal with brides and know how to make this big decision easier! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone! more

This is a WARNING to all brides considering buying anything from Vesa's...PLEASE RECONSIDER!! Cons: Vesa is rude, unprofessional and has ruined my bridal dress! more
