Great place, Dwayne is awesome. 10/16/2006

I've been a customer of Dwayne's for around 4 years and he is one of the best. The place is beautiful inside and truly feels like a lounge more than a salon. Cool, comfortable vibe = Verve Lounge. I can't reccomend it enough. more

Haircut to drive for! 10/12/2006

Dwayne has been my haistylist for about 10 years. 5 years ago I have moved to Ventura and couldn't find a hairstylist that would be at least half as good as Dwayne. So I take my kids and my husband all the way to LA, and even if I would move to San Francisco, it would be worth the haircut and color. more

The BEST Haircut I ever got 10/12/2006

The Verve Lounge was recommended by my agent. Being an actor I took a shot at getting a new look. The haircut I got turned out to be the best I have ever gotten and not only that but the ambience is like attending the chillest art gallery in SOHO. You just want to move in there! A plus for the Verve Lounge peeps and can honestly say that I no longer need to stress about my hair. more

There is no place like this in Los Angeles. Cutting edge, but still so personal. The private rooms and flat screen tv's...everybody will feel like a celebrity. more

It's like finding ""the one"" 10/11/2006

Finding a good hair salon and stylist is like getting married. You kiss a lot of frogs before you find the one you want to stick with forever. The Verve Lounge is amazing and Dwayne is the best around. So good in fact that Ive spent the last year flying from San Francisco to get my hair done there! more

My husband and I BOTH go there, and we will never leave Dwayne. He's awesome on cut and color, and he's a nice guy too. Surroundings are also very cool and comfortable. more

Wonderful atmosphere, convenient, great people 10/11/2006

Verve Lounge is a wonderful gem. Beautiful surroundings, great staff. Convenient and there is parking. I always get compliments on my hair cut and color. In fact most people don't realize that I have my hair colored, they believe it is my natural color. Dwayne and Laura are the best, and if you have just moved to Los Angeles, or live here and are looking for a new hair stylist, look no further. Amazing salon - Impecable service! 10/11/2006

I spent years trying to find a stylist that could accomplish my color needs without thrashing my hair. After numerous stylists, countless failed attempts, and frazzled hair - I was recommended to Dwayne Ross at the Verve Lounge. My first impression of the Verve Lounge, was that it has such a relaxing, inviting, zen like vibe - unlike the loud hectic salons that I was accustomed to. After years of ""not being quite satisfied"" with my hair, I now have amazing color and the health of my hair has been completely restored. I get compliments non-stop!!!
