I drove nearly 200 miles to have my hairweave done by Zay at Versatile. I was immediately impressed by her maturity and professionalism being that she is such a young stylist. I am very demanding and picky when it comes to my hair so I was expecting the usual reaction that I get such as heavy sighing or eye rolling. I got none of that from Zay. She did my hair the exact way I wanted it. I know it seems like a very simple request but I have had my fair share of bad experiments with hairstylists.(I did mean EXPERIMENTS and not experiences because that is what my weave looked like after going to some so-called hairstylists!) I have been wearing weaves for 20 years and this is the best job I have ever received! The braids were small and tight. It does not feel bumby at all. Despite the fact that all my hair was braided up, it looks so natural. The cut is also perfect. I will never let anyone else do my hair, ever. I also liked the fact that they cater to all different types of hair from Black and White hair, to Hispanic and Asian hair. What really impressed me most was the time i was in there. It did not take Zay long at all to do my hair. This was probably due to the fact that I was her only client at that time. She does not play the musical chairs game that so many hairstylists like to play in a greedy attempt to make money by overbooking clients. They also do fusion (strand by strand) weaves and lace front wigs too. If you want the best weave in town, go see Zay at Versatile Beauty Center inside the Galleria.
Pros: Professional, quick, customer service
Cons: Need to offer refreshments in hair salon, not just spa upstairs.
