Verrazano Moving & Storage

I used Varrazano Moving when I moved back into my house. They damaged an armoire and told me when the guys were still here that they would send someone to fix it. When I called they said they were fully insured. Called back a few days later to see what was going on with my claim when they told me that they were not going to fix it and they were going to give me a check for $75 dollars because they said they were only liable for $0.30 a pound! After I was hung up on by their worker John 3 times I decided to I am going to take them to small claims court. Never in my life have I been treated so terribly! I was more than cooperative and over looked many things. They dropped my dryer off the truck. I didn't say anything because it still worked. more

My experience with Verrazano moving has been nothing shy of wonderful. They are professional, punctual, courteous and extremely focused and therfore careful of your belongings.. They have moved my charity three times already . They have climbed three flights of steps with no elevator, nine rooms of furnture was moved and stored without a scratch. They have done all this in the name of charity because of the injured children my charity helps. This is a wealth of weight in in character and intengrity. I have reccommend them to many people and have only had praise of thier articulate moving experience. more

They moved my grandmother to Flemington. They where on time and courteous. The men really went out of their way to protect all my grandmothers furniture. I could not have a had a better moving experience. more

I have moved many times in my life in various parts of the country and have never encountered such horrible service. My mother and her husband were moving stuff from his place in Brooklyn down to their home in South Carolina. I helped them try to find competent movers for a good price. Pros: nothing! more

I've moved many times and been burned before. Called many companies but got the most information from them and they asked the most questions about my home. Got several estimates anyway, and they were right in the middle. The estimator was very polite and not pushy, one guy kept calling for days hounding, asking if I made up my mind yet. I definitely made the right choice, nicest movers, quick, polite, would highly recommend them. Get the binding estimate, it's a free service and you know exactly what you're paying upfront. I read the first review and believe me, the ones who wrote it are the true scammers. I wouldn't doubt it was written by one of their competitors. They have been moving my friends, family and co workers for years. Honest, reliable and I have never had a problem. The last time I moved the covered my front door, the door jams, and shrink wrapped my light sofas. If your moving you would be stupid not to call them, see for yourself. They are great movers and nice guys. I requested and GOT the same guys who had moved me 6 1/2 years ago. First they lost our reservation. Then they stalled for time during the trip from starting point to destination. The move was unprofessional and unskilled. Things were broken, skuffed, scratched, and damaged. Then they failed to provide crucial services that had been promised. Cons: They will cheat you and threaten you! more
