Vermont Pancake House

I never knew anyone could ruin breakfast as much as these folks - undercooked pancakes, burn eggs, stale toast, partially frozen home fries and the list could go on. Never even on a bet would I waste good money on such trash food; even the coffee tasted burnt. With any luck they will close shortly. more

Perfect place, great decor....love the hostess and the wait staff is so friendly and service is always good. My favorites are the Buffalo Chicken Salad and Buffalo chicken wings. Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner at really good prices. You won't be disappointed. Senior days are Tuesday and Wednesday and they have great kids meals. My nieces love this place and the food. more

I found this restaurant while shopping at the plaza and decided to give it a try. The decor is warm and very pleasant, and the food was just great. Big portions of great pancakes and awesome french toast with home fries and eggs and everything you would expect. The staff was friendly and service was quick. They dont only serve breakfast, and the dinner items looked pretty good, so I am going to go back and try their dinners. more

After reading the previous review I thought I would give it a shot. Worst decision of my weekend. The place had a pleasant decor so I had high hopes walking in. Should have thought twice when the hostess looking at the three of us asked "table for two?" Ordered Eggs Benedict, Fresh Fruit Cup, Turkey Wrap with no Tomatoes or Honey Mustard, sprite, and chocolate shake. Eggs were so overcooked that the yolk was solid, the Hollandaise sauce (what little there was) was disgusting and the Canadian bacon was scorched. The side of home fries tasted like it had been soaked in grease for hours. I couldn't eat any of it. The Fresh fruit cup had fruit that was not fresh. The turkey wrap came with tomatoes and honey mustard despite specifically ordering it without. The Chocolate Shake was the only bright spot on an otherwise dreadful meal, the shake was bar none excellent (kinda hard to screw up ice cream). The waitress was polite and friendly but the cook should be fired. I've had superior food at Denny's or IHOP and at the price Vermont Charges (over $30 for the above mentioned) I would expect much higher quality. A major dissapointment. more

Excellent breakfast place, very clean. Fantastic breakfast. I like to order the sampler which comes with practically every breakfast item for $10. Milkshakes are awesome, just remind them to make it extra thick. They also have excellent hamburgers, a super neat onion ring tower, and yummy French dip sandwich. We came here with friends the night after our wedding, hung over, and tired. We didn’t talk, just ate, and were completely satisfied. Service is often slow. more
