When we sold are home, are moving plans were very complicated - moves to three locations, two of which were out of state. The staff members were very professional, delivered service on time, were easy to work with, were very careful with our furniture, returned calls promptly. Chris and Tim are geniuses when it comes to moving furniture into tight storage spaces. Amazing to watch them work! The words I use are professional, talented, friendly, and reliable. more

We moved two towns over and it took two days. Andrew, Anthony, Rob and Jodi were excellent movers. They listened to my worries about scratching the floors, they put down extra pads, nothing was ruined, everything got to the new house safe and sound. I like that this is a fixed price, there were no issues with pricing and wondering what it would cost if it went over a special time slot. These guys were also very personable and kind. I enjoyed talking to them through the process of the move. Thank you verity van lines, my family will be using you again! more

What a great experience. From the 1st phone call to dropping off our stuff, Verity Van Lines treated us like gold. My wife and I were very stressed out and Verity helped us keep our sanity. Dennis and Raffi were gentlemen and treated our stuff and our home with respect. It was snowing when they arrived and they jumped right in. What hard workers. I was very impressed. This is the second time we have used Verity Van Lines for our house move. Both times the movers were right on time, very pleasant to work with and were extremely careful with our possessions. I would highly recommend Verity Van Lines to my friends and family. Paul, Bob and Jodi were our movers and we couldn't have asked for nicer guys to deal with more

We have used VVL for two moves and know of five other familes who have also used them. They have never dissappointed anyone. They are very professional and very helpful in making the move as easy as possible. We were lucky to have Andrew Abreu on our last move because he took his time helping us with the funiture assembly and placement--of which I might have changed my mind a few times!!! I would always reccommend them to anyone for any move. more

A very Typical (lying, sleazy, low class, thieves) Moving Company. BEWARE. I have moved all over the country, Five Times, and have experienced every type of moving company there is. On a scale of 1-10, I'd rate Verity Van Lines Inc. from Seaford, NY as a BIG ZERO. Like other sleazy moving companies they quote you one price and then after you sign a contract, the price goes up. My sales representative, is like most. In that when his lips are moving, he's lying. Salvatore Preiato promised me that he has been doing this all of his life and he over estimated the weight of my items so that I will be safe AND even if he was wrong that I would have a 10% price guarantee. He said that after they get my furniture picked up that I would see both before and after weigh bills. Never saw anything. Naturally, the price went up after they took my furniture away. Then they changed the arrival date, so my belongings sat on a truck for two weeks in Seaford, NY. On several occasions they told me that they only carry insurance for $00.60 (60 cents) a pound and that I should increase it at an additional charge.I declined. It wasn't until my furniture arrived (3 weeks later) that I was told that if there is any damage that they were only responsible for what "THEY PACKED". I packed everything except 3 items. And I When I found damaged items, I called "Sal" he never returned my calls until I threatened to write bad reviews. Then he called me and told me to send him photos of the damage and he will take care of it. I never heard from him again. When I called their office I was told that he was on vacation and that I needed to complete a claim form that they would mail me. I'm still waiting for that. I also asked, "Why would I purchase extra insurance, if they were not responsible for 99% of my shipment? Answer: It's the law. Huh? It's the law to offer me more insurance and not tell me that they are not responsible for anything that they don't pack. In summary, They are lying, sleazy, low class, thieves of a moving company more

I Cannot say enough about how fantastic it was to work with Verity Van Lines. My mom was moving to a new apartment and was very nervous. From the start Sal was great in giving us an estimate and scheduling the date of the move. On the day of the move Paul R. showed up and I was blown away by how nice he was. I have a handicapped sister and he said hello to her and had a conversation with her which most people do not do. He was very professional and very nice. He was so easy to work with and talk to. Eddie, the other gentleman helping with the move, was also wonderful. They worked quickly and efficiently and got the job done without damaging any furniture, including antique furniture. There is not enough word's for me to use to express how these wonderful men made this such a pleasant experience. It felt like family and friends moving my mom. Thank you so much, Paul and Eddie, for making this move so easy. If planning a move do not hesitate to use Verity Van Lines! I will be recommending Verity to all of my family and friends!!! more
