On the surface, Hirshberg Dental looks great: friendly front office staff, big, modern, clean offices. But the misleading, high-pressure, sales-oriented approach to dentistry quickly offsets these advantages. They don't just run the place like a business, they run it like a car dealership, constantly trying to pressure patients into "add ons," and I was not confident that I needed the work they said was required. The owner provided false information, claiming that if I didn't have a full set of x-rays every 5 years, he could literally lose his license. When I checked to see if this was a regulation and discovered it wasn't, he changed his story. To me, a good dentist isn't just a good technician; it's someone you can trust. I had absolutely no sense of trust of this practice. Taking the time to find a more reputable practice was worth the effort.
