The service was above par. While most of the staff seemed to be students at the University of Iowa, they remained very professional. The friendly staff responded well to my often sarcastic sense of humor. The food on the other hand was definately average. The couscous was served cold. I am not used to cold couscous on a dinner entre. Other tapas seemed hard to share, like the chicken, which was terribly bland, served over pasta. How do you share a plate of pasta? Is this The Lady and the Tramp? I don't intend to visit Verde again.
