Oh man...BEST Pancakes 8/14/2006

My friend recently took me to Venus on Shattuck and oh man, are their breakfast items delicious. They have these things called Luxury Flaps for weekend brunch and they have fresh strawberry syrup with fresh strawberry butter. I was in heaven. She tells me that dinner ain't that great, but man if you have a chance, check this place out for brunch. Prices are a little high for a student's budget, but I think its worth it. more

Venus is a Berkeley Treasure 7/1/2005

Venus is one of Berkeley’s many tiny treasures. It’s always crowded and the menu is short but filled with delightful dishes. Goat cheese is generously placed in quite a number of dishes and breakfasts often have lemon curd, fruit compote or chocolate. The help isn’t super attentive as it is a bit of a feat to maneuver around the small space. more
