Venture Home Works

Venture Window is doing a high end job for us. They put in a $3,000 window and replaced our old one. Now I have them doing vinyl siding on the whole house. From top to bottom, it's been excellent. more

they're overly priced . .they use the cheapest products possible. including caulk and insulation.two of the main components besides the window. they have to get with the times and use quality products instead of cutting corners.as far as employee appreciation there is none no benefits no nothing. I feel symphony for them.! more

We had checked out other people, but we went with Venture Window. We trusted them immediately and John was great. Venture Window put in 28 new windows in our home, which is 40 years old. One was a picture window and we also had three smaller ones. They were in and out of here. They were very professional and they were very easy people to work with. We would absolutely continue to use their service. We were very satisfied with the salesmen and the workers. more

The people that work for Venture, that installed the windows, are very very nice guys. They did a wonderful job and they even offered to do more before they left in case I needed them for something. The office service is good too, they always return my calls. I called them about a small window incident, and they not only acknowledged the problem but fixed it. Great service. more

Venture Window does exactly what they say they are going to do, they get the job done, and they take responsibility for their actions. I feel safe with them, and it is really about trust for me. It's been about a year and a half and everything has been good, honest stuff. more

I am extremely pleased with Venture Window. First of all, I've had repeated experiences where people come to work in my home and say they will do things and then don't do them. I am clueless about windows and I'm a single woman, and I feel it would have been very easy for Venture Window to take advantage of my situation, but Bruce was completely honest. He stood by his word. His men were also very nice and even saved me money, because they offered good recommendations for a different project I had going on in my home. Overall, I am very satisfied with this company. I would highly recommend Bruce. more

Our windows were older windows. Venture Window's team did very well putting the windows together. I work at night, so I sleep during the day, when they were working. They made as little noise as possible so as not to disturb me. They bothered me as little as possible. They were very polite and did the job very well. more

I've got nothing but good things to say about Bruce and Venture Window. They did a fantastic job with all of the installations. We had some doors installed that were required by the new fire code, and some old doors that had to be updated with new spring loaded door closers. We also had new handles and locks installed. In my lobby upstairs I had 4 windows installed, and it made a tremendous difference to the building. I had done business with them in the past and will use them again if I ever need to. more

Venture Window installed two windows for me in the spring. On one window, the screen had holes on it. I told the installers about it and they assured me they would have it replaced. The windows look good, but I am still waiting for them to replace that damaged screen. More recently, they put in a door with a top and bottom lock. The key that I had for the door worked on the top lock, but not on the bottom lock. They were just here and they replaced the bottom lock. My key now works on both locks. On the two jobs they've done for me, they have done great work. Their installer are kind and they clean up after themselves. more

I had a fantastic all around experience with Venture Window. Their products are terrific, they are a family business, they offer their employees healthcare, their employees are plesant & expedient! The two men who put in my huge picture window had been with the company for 13 years & BOTH of them told me how much they enjoy working for them! They weren't relatives either! This company over charges for their products and has little to no service. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE! THEY WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE MISERABLE! My $3500 door has bubbled twice, the handleset has broken 3x and the finish on the door scratches when you look at it. Trying to resolve these issues is like pulling teeth. It takes months to set something up and even longer to get a single call back. Dont bother talking to John or Bruce they do not return calls ever. I even contactedt he better business Bureau and they LIED to them and stated that my issue had been resolved which it most certainly had not. I offered photos to BBB for proof. I suggest you stay far far afar away from this company - I wish I would have never ever replaced my door as it has been the worst home improvement experience of my life. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! RESPONSE FROM Venture Window: All the problems experienced by MS Bradshaw were due to manufacturing defects beyond our control. We do not make our own doors, We purchased this door prefinished from Jeld-Wen, a very large and reputable manufacturer. Her frustration (and ours) is due to the tedious process involved with the manufacturer's warranty service. We have been to her home numerous times to verify her problems and have had the manufacturer's service dept out to see her as well. A new door was ordered and installed and despite all our efforts, it had defects too. It took a couple of weeks for this door to bubble and start to de-laminate, so it was not obvious at first. A third door is now in the works with the assurance from the manufacturer to be from a new manufacturing process. We have been reassured this door should be free of defects as they have changed the foam core, which apparently was causing the problem. While I appreciate her frustration with how long this is taking, we have been fully involved with the resolution at every stage. I resent her allegation I lied to the BBB. Her second door was installed during that time and it appeared all was in order. It was later discovered it too had defects. We have (and continue) to do all we can to resolve this matter and we desire her complete satisfaction. She must be a little more patient, but will be satisfied in the end. more

We have dealt with another local window company in the past, who came and tried to rip us off $1,800. My brother is in the home improvement business, and he turned us on to Venture Window. We were very fortunate that he did. The long and short of it is that they're a great company to work with, and I think more people should think about using them. Greg Baer more

They're straight. Venture Window does what they say. They are excellent. They are accurate, timely, responsive, responsible, reasonably priced, and easy to deal with. They have integrity, and they always always come across as going what they say. more

I had bought a house in Providence and there was a number of things that needed to be dealt with. One of them was windows and doors. I had seen Venture Window because they were highly visible on mainstream products. Bruce came by and did some measurements. The prices great and we ordered. Along the way, there were certain issues. The door was cracked and when I told him about it, he said he already ordered a new door, which I really appreciated because normally people would try to hide that and not take the blame. more

I have nothing bad to say! Every guy that came here knew what they were doing. I have no complaints! The guys did the doors, windows, and siding. I'd give a 5 for everything! We were new to the area and didn't know who to use. We used an old phonebook and found Venture Window. Everybody has complimented on our house since we moved in! All I can say is that Venture Window is very easy to work with. We had one bad experience with one guy from another company, but Venture Windows were great. I wish they could have worked on my kitchen instead! Venture Window did a beautiful job. They were very professional. People just stop at our house and say "what a difference." Venture Window is very good! They came when they said they would come and came right away to put in our windows. We found out about Venture Window through my brother-in-law who had some windows installed by them. I would recommend them because they're good and fast! more

Overall, Venture Window was very good. They were professional and got the work done in a timely fashion. I was very much satisfied. Most recently, Venture Window installed five vinyl windows in a multi-family home of mine. They've done a couple jobs for me before. I keep coming back because price-wise, they were very competitive. I am overall happy with the workmanship and the pricing. Venture Window is good value! more
