Venture Cinema

I love this place. I can take the whole family to the movies and even get a small snack for $10. Can't beat that. Yes, Regal is nicer, but it just isn't worth the extra money. This is such a bargain. I enjoy the movie more knowing that I haven't broken the bank! more

My family is new to the area, and we passed Venture Cinemas many times and passed on it assuming it would be run down and dirty. We were wrong My brother is a youth pastor, and he often takes his youth group there because the movies are so cheap and affordable for young kids. My husband and I attended a movie with them one Saturday, and we were so impressed. Granted, the theater is not brand new, but it is clean and presentable, and it's easy on the pocketbook. There is always a large selection of movies to choose from, and they are not old at all. Because life is so busy, we have trouble finding time to watch movies when they are first released. We have discovered that if it is not an action packed movie that needs a high definition sound system for maximum enjoyment, then we do better to wait a couple of weeks to catch the movie at Venture for only a buck. The popcorn is great, and there are lots of video games for kids to play while waiting. We have also discovered that some nights the Venture Cinema is quite a happening spot with a very diverse crowd, (not just young kids). Venture Cinemas is a perfect deal for a movie out without all the expense. 5 stars for the value and variety! more

Venture is awesome! I think it's so cool that they still have dollar movie theaters around now a days! For a dollar you really can't beat that especially if you are broke and want to go out on a date! LOL Also the movies playing are pretty new vs. if you went to Blockbuster you'de have to pay almost 5 bucks to rent a movie for 2 days. BOO for that! Venture ROCKS! =] more

This is one of those cheap movie theaters. Tickets are only one dollar and you have a good time watching the movie. But, unlike other establishments, it's pretty run down. sometimes, there are mantainence issues that really distract from the movie. Also, the movies playing aren't that old. It's not like the DVD already came out or something. These movies are ones that just stopped playing at other theaters. If you're into paying very little for a entertaining night, this is the place for you. more

This is the local one dollar movie theatre. Obviously it is cheap, but the movies that they play are not so bad. They are movies that just stopped playing at Regals; movies that are a month or two old. At one dollar a ticket, that is a bargain. The place is run down, there is water leaking at some spots. There are arcade games there to pass the time. So this place is perfect for teens who are broke but want to have fun with their friends. It is in a little mall, so before the movie starts, you can go and explore and shop a little. Go here when all you can afford to spend is a dollar but need a fun way to spend an evening. more
