Never use Venturas Bridal! 12/7/2013

Horrible customer service! Horrible manager! I purchased a dress from Ventura and when i went to pick it up they told me they did not have it. The clerk told me she would talk with the manager and have her give me a call. I never received the call. After trying to contact the manager again 3 times, i was finally able to get a hold of her. She was very unpleasant and told me someone else must have picked up the dress and that i would have to figure out who it was and resolve the issue myself. I reminded her that i had purchased the dress from her store, not someone else and that i expected to receive the dress from the store. I was told i would not be refunded nor would the dress be replaced. I would never use Venturas Bridal. I am now out a total of 236$. You've been warned... more

Lacks Good Customer Service 5/22/2012

I went to Ventura's bridal to purchase my Wedding Dress, (8) Bridesmaid Dresses and flower girl dresses. But they were unaware when, I didn't tell them that I was ready to buy. I went in to try on several dresses and the consultant kept asking me have I made a decision, I responded and asked if she could please give me time. I am not ready yet, she kept rushing me and asking what about this one, and then what do you think have you made a decision? I became so frustrated until I just left. Management never approaced me and ask if everything was okay, just let me walk out the door. The consultant kept making me feel rushed. I had gone to Ventura's some years ago and everything was good. However, the young lady there are unprofessional except for one consultant that offered to assist me who was overridden by someone else. Beautiful Dresses, Poor Customer Service. In addition, telling me how much some of the dresses were that I selected. I was prepared to pay over $2,000 for my dress and up to $250.00 per bridesmaid dress. more

I could not recommend Ventura's more highly 8/3/2011

I could not recommend Ventura's more highly. They provide excellent service- especially Natalie. Ask for her and I am pretty sure you will find the dress of your dreams. Ventura's is a diamond hiding in a not-so-pretty building. Definitely worth checking out. more

I found such a beautiful dress for such a great price 7/22/2011

I bought everything here--my dress, veil, tiara, bridesmaid's dresses, and mother of the bride dress. Ventura's doesn't spend a lot of money making the shop look all frilly, but those savings are passed on to you because this place had the best deal on dresses I could find (even compared to online dress wholesale sites). I shopped everywhere in and around Houston from the boutique, expensive shops to the chain stores for a dress and was shocked I found such a beautiful dress for such a great price more

So much variety at this place and pretty good prices. I decided on an ivory mermaid silhouette Casablanca bridal gown. It was perfect for our garden wedding, love it!!! Ask for Natalie, she has an awesome and bubbly personality! :) more

I love Ventura's Bridal 7/18/2011

I love Ventura's Bridal! I went to high school down the street and use to past there everyday! But when my day to actually go in and see the bridal selection came....I couldnt have been any happier! There was no pressure to purchase and they were very patient with me and my picky taste! When I actually found the two....Pattie really helped me make my final decision. She and the staff was very professional even during the hectic Saturdays! Thanks again more

This is a GREAT place to buy a wedding dress! The workers are very kind and excited to have you there. I had to get my wedding dress in 4 weeks and they totally made it happen. Also, my alterations had to be done in 4 weeks and they did that too! Definitely a gem in the sea of horrible dress shops. more

Ventura's was extremely helpful. I took pictures of what I was looking for and they found one almost identical to the one I wanted. I didnt think that it would be possible considering the one I wanted was extremely intricate but they did. I tried on a few others 1st but when I put that 1 on I fell in love with it and started crying. Not only was it perfect but the price was a fraction of the one that I wanted :) thanks Ventura's more

I had an appointment with Gini. She is AWESOME. She made me feel at home while I was there. Dress shopping can be a stressful time and everything went great. I also bought my bridesmaid dresses there. Everything came in on time and it was so stress free. I would say that the best time to book an appointment with them is first thing on a Saturday morning...it can get busy there. more

Brides...forgoe all the fancy chandaliers and champagne servie..this is the best place to get your dress. I paid the lowest prices and my dress looked like a million bucks! they got it in a month early. And my saleswoman contacted my tailor to make sure he understood how to maintain the integrity of the gown while flattering my difficult figure. When you have a 24 inch wait and 40 inch hips...there is an ART to tailoring! If you go here, ask for Jessica! She's a superstar!!! She picked up on my personality right away and every gown she chose was right up my alley. more

I really had a wonderful experience with Ventura's! I found EXACTLY what I was looking for at a completely reasonable cost (actually under my budget). The real gem to this place was the alteration's lady (I can't remember her name). She did an AMAZING job! I actually decided to add a belt to my dress and wanted chiffon added as well. They didn't have chiffon and my option was going to be finding some at a craft store and bringing it in. She actually found chiffon on the alteration room floor and was willing to finish it like it was a part of the belt and the dress. My gown turned out PERFECTLY! and I received SO many compliments the day of! more
