I have always taken my GTI to our local dealer, after a bad experience, I decided to try the next closest dealer in Ventura. I called and made an appointment, very easy and got the day I wanted. Arrived at the right time and was greeted promtly by Brandi. She was very nice and listened to my whole story about the other dealer and there lack of attention and inability to locate the source of my issue. There had been atleast 3 attempts to locate the source of a noise in my suspension. The car is almost out of warranty and I can't believe it cannot be found. Brandi called later that afternoon and they found it! A loose bolt, they checked every bolt and found it! Drove the car home, NO NOISE! Yahoo! I may have to drive further, but it is worth it! If you are looking for a new VW, read this! I helped my son shop for a new GTI over the internet. We shopped from LA to Santa Barbara and all points between. We narrowed it down based on pricing and "no pressure" sales tactics. There are a ton of very aggressive dealers, it seems most are too aggressive, even on the net. Finally, we chose Barber VW based on the fact everything was done over the net, phone,fax and fed ex. All we had to do was schedule the delivery day and time. We arrived early, the car was ready, finalized a few details and he drove home in his new 2011 GTI. I cannot sing enough positive praises for the dealer and the management! Very nice place, clean .Sales people very nice & helpful.We were in the market for a used truck.So as we were driving past we stopped.They didn't have what we wanted .They didn't try to presser us into anything else.if they would have had what we wanted I would have bought from them.I highly recommend this dealership more
