Ventana Animal Hospital

I LOVE this vet! I'm so picky about where my babies go and the quality of treatment they receive. The people here are so nice and caring. I'm the type of person who is nervous of doctor appointments, just because I never know what to expect. Ventana has certainty eased that for me, I know my cats will be cared for here. I had my feral born cat who has a bad temper and does not like strangers shaved here. She has long fluffy fur which started to matte up. They handled her wonderfully, she's three years old and really knows how to put up a fight! My main concern was that people wouldn't know how to deal with her or mistreat her because she isn't the most cuddly cat with people. Not Ventana! I felt so comfortable and confident leaving her with them. She came back to us with a cute (and a little comical) lion hair cut. She was like a brand new kitten again! I love love love this Vet!!! I cant say it enough! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. They are so great with my dog! They always make her feel comfortable before they start anything. My dog had hurt her leg at the park and my husband and I decided to give her a few days to heal before we took her to the vet. I went to get her some doggie aspirin at petsmart and decided to talk to Banfield to see what they thought. They were so rude to my husband and I and made us feel horrible about our decision to wait to take her in. So the next morning I called Ventana and they were so sweet and super supportive. They gave me ideas and of course their thoughts. When I was talking to the guy at banfield her kept saying x rays are needed. But when I talked to Ventana they said more than likely they wont need to do x-rays the vet will be able to tell if it is just a sprain. They aren't out there to take all your money but out there to really help your animal. Take your animal to this vet!!! more

Finally not afraid to take pets to the vet. In the past always have felt like a customer than my pet a patient. The prices were dramatic from one vet to this one, 150% different! Very nice and clean also more

Dr. Burrows is one of the most caring vets I've ever had the pleasure to meet. The staff is so helpful, and the facility is so clean and up to date. We highly recommend this office to anyone looking for an office where you can develop a relationship with the entire staff and feel that they care almost as much as you do about your most-loved animals! more

I highly recommend these vets. We just recently moved to another state and I miss them terribly. They really care, and they are extremely knowledgeable. Both Dr.s are always helpful, clam, and good listeners. Leaving them was like leaving family members. I wish we could have taken them with us. The office is very quiet, and they will always make room for you. Imagine, going to the vet a pleasant experience? more

My family has been going to see this veterinarian for years. She truly cares about animals. The doc even treated my cat, who is so insane at the vet that he has to be knocked out in order to be examined. She even took it in stride after he tried to bite her hand off.\r \r The facility is clean and the staff is kind and friendly. Last time my cat was sick, I was able to get in the same day, which is always good for this worried kitty mother. more

I went here once when my cat was sick, and was very impressed. The staff were friendly and helpful and seemed to genuinely love animals. The building was clean and well-equipped. The veterinarian was friendly and knowledgable and gave me medicine which helped my cat get better. I highly recommend this vet office. more
