I don't know much about wine, so I can't comment on that... but their gift selection is damned amazing. They have a ton of really unique toys and novelties, kitchen gadgets, bags, wine racks, salt/pepper shakers, serveware... but nothing that you'll ever see in a big-box store. All of their inventory has really eye-catching design. Very friendly service, and they threw in gift wrapping. Definite recommend for folks looking for unique, and sophisticated gifts. I love Venokado! The girls there are so friendly and helpful. I have had nothing but great wines and they are affordable. I always find something for under $20. The gifts are great too. I always go there first. I have gotten baby gifts and stuff for Mother's and Father's day. My parents loved the picnic basket I sent from there recently. AND they do gorgeous gift wrapping. Just look for the light on Fountain at Spaulding and they are right there on the south side!! My friend introduced me to this place, I will definitely venture back. It was so cute and quaint, they had an amazing affordable selection of wine and much more, the creative baskets are the perfect gift for anyone. They had a wine tasting, which was a lot of fun. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. I was told they offer wine classes as well, I love to drink wine, but don't know much about it so I will take full advantage of that. more

this place has wine you wont find anywhere else. lots for under $15, and also really unique, hip and beautiful gifts. we even have kids and baby gifts. we will put together fun gift boxes with or without wine. parking can seem daunting, but it's not - there are always spots on the street and also they provide 2 parking spaces right in front of the store. Had to do some gifts for some collegues of mine and happened upon this crazy shop in West Hollywood.\r When they said random, they meant it. The enthuastic staff put together some cool ""boxes"" which included a bottle of Longboard Merlot, an awesome wine opener, a book on surfing and some wine glasses. You could literally do all of your shopping for every holiday here. My wife special ordered an organic hemp pillow stitched with family members, including the furry ones. They even sell wall mounted fireplaces! The women there know their wine, too. Each one means something to them and they become very animated describing each bottle.\r Check it out!
