Venice Pizza

This place is awesome! We have ordered nearly everything from the menu, also and have rarely been disappointed. I recommend the cannelloni-manicotti and dinner salad - ton of food and on the cheap! more

I just picked up a pizza for the first time from Venice Pizza. We ordered a large veggie, hold the olives and add sausage and they got it right. It was ready in 20 minutes. With the $3 off coupon in every menu the price was very reasonable. The service was prompt and friendly. We also were patrons of the now closed Sahara Pizza. The crust is thinner than Sahara's was, but I like it that way. It was a bit heavy on the cheese for me, but I find most pizzas are. Overall this is a really good basic pizza place. We will order from them again. more

They have only been open for three months by now, I believe. So the first two reports don't do their current progress justice!! I mean the penne pasta is soooo good. There are numerous pizzas like ones I've never heard of like Chicken Fettuccini,Roasted Garlic, and Mexicano Specail. I'll come again and again, for sure. more

This place ROCKS. We have tried nearly everything on the menu at this point, and everything has been good. MADE TO ORDER! And, the people are fantastic. There COULD be a language barrier -- I agree it's easier to order in person, however, they are patient and you can be too. So YUMMY! more

This was the first time my family ate from Venice Pizza-Pasta so we decided to try a few things out. Shrimp fettucini, the lasagna, ravioli, and a Hawaiian pizza. The pizza had the best Canadian bacon flavor ever on a thin, non greasy crust. very good. the lasagna actually had real tomatoes in it. Chunks of real tomatoes. the raviolis were very good as well. A great side salad was provided and the garlic bread was amazing. There was extra red sauce which i would normally dip the bread in but it had such a robust flavor i decided not too. The fettucini had a great flavor and had actually whole shrimp in it. not little small ones but a very decent size that you could use in a cocktail. There wasn't a ton of shrimp in the dish but granted the size and flavor made up for it. Very good place overall i would highly recommend it to anyone. more

Sahara Pizza in Richmond Beach went out of business lately, and I am so sad. I was looking for another good pizza shop, and Venice Pizza left a flyer at my door. I live 5 blocks from them and just ordered a special pizza for the first time. I had a really hard time giving my order to the guy who was on the phone taking orders. He did not speak English very well.. OK, I understand. The 10" pizza I ordered cost as much as a gourmet 12" pizza from Sahara. OK, whatever. I ask how long it will be and they tell me 40-45 minutes. OK. In the end, it took 1 hour and 10 minutes for them to get me a pizza! (Remember, I am 5 blocks away from them!) When the driver eventually got to me, I asked him how much it was and mumbled something about a dollar off. Whatever! The bottom line: The pizza was gross. The crust was pale and flavorless. It needed salt. It hardly had any cheese on it. Do not order from these jokers! They deserve to be out of business. more

We recently ordered wings and garlic bread. The wings were from a box in the frozen food aisle of the grocery store and the bread had no flavor and was soggy. Gross. more
