My first visit to this office was a nightmare. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a frigid receptionist. Would it have killed her to smile? Whatever happened to courtesy?
After waiting 20 minutes, a veterinary associate approached us with needles in hand and without introducing herself, told us that she would have to give our puppy her vaccinations right there in the lobby as they had, "two cats in the back" - whatever that means! I was appalled and mortified! Whatever happened to professionalism?
Furthermore, despite calling ahead and providing detailed information of what we needed during our visit, they still managed to mess things up. They forgot to give our puppy a vaccination that would've prevented her from being accepted to a boarding facility! If I hadn't noticed this ommission we'd have had to come back another day and probably charged another office visit fee.
As if that wasn't enough, there was a lady there with what appeared to be a very ill puppy. She made them aware that she found the puppy @ a barn. Instead of treating her gently and kindly all they wanted to talk about was if she would "take responsibility" for the dog or the puppy would be released to a shelter once it's been treated. Where is the compassion?
Lastly, I inquired about getting our puppy spayed and it was like pulling teeth to get information! Had I not known what questions to ask I wonder what, other than how much it would cost, information she would've given me. No pamphlets, no brochures, no website referrals were provided. Where is the customer service?
Again, no one introduced themselves, no one smiled the whole hour we were there and they barely made eye contact with me when they spoke. We spent over a $100 @ this place and entrusted them with our best friend, you'd think they could @ least attempt to make you comfortable.
