This clinic is all about the money. They charged me $150 for one Xray on my Pom, whereas my original Vet (was on vaca) charges $40.00- the clinic is understaffed. I will never ret...

This clinic is all about the money. They charged me $150 for one Xray on my Pom, whereas my original Vet (was on vaca) charges $40.00- the clinic is understaffed. I will never return to this clinic because there prices are totally unreasonable. more

VCA Desoto comes thru again for us. 11/20/2010

Our 3rd dog Blanca, a Pit mix from the streets was found in a pile of trash with her brother in Dallas. A man found them and took them to Lee Harvey's bar that is dog friendly on sundays. We took one look at the 12 week old puppy and had to have her.\r Blanca had a little mange along with very very bad ant bites all over her body. Her weight was down critically low. Dr. Martinez and Co. @ VCA knew exactly what needed to be done and immediately put Blanca on IV's and meds. The skin creams they gave us over the span of 3 months cleared up all of the bites and the mange is gone. We are pround to say that VCA helped our pack to grow by one more. We live downtown Dallas and gladly make the drive to VCA Desoto. Thanks for all your hard work.\r Russel and Karen Johnson more

Rosie's Doctor 12/8/2008

My husband takes our dog, Rosie, her for care. We live in Cedar Hill and he drives to Desoto because he has always been pleased with their level of care. He has always been happy with the prices and we will continue to patronize this establishment. more

Unorganized and Understaffed 2/20/2008

This clinic is unorganized, understaffed and under trained. The staff are over worked and it shows with their patient care. Money is their top priority and patient care comes second. I would not recommend this clinic to my enemy. more

good experience 5/25/2006

My family has used DAH for almost 20 years. We have taken each of our pets there, and have always been happy with the experience we and our animals received.\r We had to put our dog down last year, which was such a huge loss for our family as he had been with us for almost 15 years. The hospital sent us a sympathy card signed by the doctors and staff there, which meant the world to us. more
