We have been going to Vaughn's Auto Repair & 24 Hour for several years. They are very helpful. Most importantly, they don't ever try to gouge you on prices. They work with you in terms of costs, so I would say they are honest people. more

I've gone to Vaughn's Auto Repair & 24 Hour for about six years now. First of all, they are great at communicating. They will really talk to you as they get what needs to be serviced done. They won't take all of your money, either. I would say their prices are very competitive for the area. more

Recently I was in Oberlin Oh. for lunch and a cup of coffee. When I was leaving I stopped at an Antique Shop. The parking was very limited, and had cars parked for shopping, which left no place for me. So I drove into the side yard which was grass, and I got stuck. I could not move, my front wheels went down into the mud. I was horrified at what I had just done. I was from out of town, more than 2 Hrs. from home. I knew no one there. I called the police, and they called Vaughn's Auto Repair & 24 Hr. Towing. The police officer I spoke to said, Vaughn's is highly recommended and that they use their services. Shortly after we hung up, Dave Vaughn arrived to help me. He knew I was upset and immediately reassured me everything will be OK. He was such a gentleman, very kind, very compassionate, understanding, and very professional. He very carefully looked at the position of my vehicle, and with great care pulled me out of the mud. I had never done anything like this before. I could not thank him enough nor could I truly express how grateful and appreciative I was for the kindness and generosity he showed me. My business has a contract with Vaughn's Auto Repair, so I work with them a lot and know them personally. Although the service this last time took a bit longer than expected, it was otherwise really good. They contacted me and let me know what was going to be done. I dropped my car off on a Friday and they had it ready by Monday, which was prompt for what needed to be done. They're good people. more

I gave Vaughn's Auto Repair & 24 Hour all 5's, but they're really a 10! David is the most honest guy in the business that I know. Everything at his shop is done professionally, and I don't have any problems. They take care of it when they say they will, they don't do stuff to the vehicle that it doesn't need, and if it does need something he will call you first and show it to you before acting on it. A lot of repair places don't do that. more
