Picking applea off the tree after a tractor ride makes for a great trip no matter what age you are. The staff are plesant and knowledgable. The country store has a great selection of bot food and craft goods, make sure you venture up the stairs. They now even have food outside so you can make a trip out of a shrt visit. The apples this year are better than last and my Fall would not be complete without a trip Vaughns. more

Apple Picking. 8/14/2005

Vaughns Orchard is open year round, but it is most famous and a lot busier during the late summer and fall season. Vaughns is an apple orchard, among other things, but you can go on a short hay ride, and pick your very own apples. It is fun to do if you have small children, but I prefer to get the apples in their country store. It is out in Weston, Missouri, but it is worth the trip. more

Vaughn's Orchard is a huge orchard with tons of trees. The apples are always good. You can ride on a wagon out to the orchard and pick apples. There is a little petting zoo there also. They also have a gift shop where you can buy all sorts of apple items. During Halloween they have a haunted barn for the kids. This is a fun place to take the kids! more

Great for a fall day 8/7/2005

Vaughns Orchard is located near historic Weston, Missouri, and is a great place to go during the fall. You can take a hay ride and pick your own apples, or go into their little store and get a bag full of them. The also have peaches, pumpkins and varies other items. The frozen apple cider slushie is great! more

Do you like to go apple picking? Well then this is where you need to go. I go here every year to pick apples with my kids. They sell already bagged apples or you can pick them yourself. There is also pumpkins and gourds and hay bales to buy. Also there is a country store with all kinds of jams, jellies, and cider. more
