A casual place with a funky atmosphere and great food at reasonable prices. Upon entering this small, friendly eatery you are immediately drawn to the myriad of nick-knacks and photos of patrons and staff that line the walls. Halloween photos, photos of Vasili himself balancing chairs in his teeth, etc. It's half the fun. The food is the other half. Get the flaming cheese appetizer, and don't forget to yell OPA! when Vasili himself comes out to light it for you. Enjoy with plenty of fresh crusty bread and you will probably be full before your entree arrives! Portions are very large. My BF had perfectly cooked spiced lamb loin chops... four of them!... plus rice, vegetables, potatoes -and- salad for $20. I had a thick, brick sized slab of fragrant pastitsio, rice, veggies and soup for $12.95. Very reasonable. Can't wait to go back and try more goodies.
