My wife and I recently bought a house and there was a doggy door we wanted filled in. The hole was approx. 2 x 2 with drywall on the inside and standard stucco on the outside. After several attempts I finally got one of their people to call me to give an estimate, I told him the dimensions and he asked if I could send pictures so he could avoid a trip in person to give an estimate. I told him we were looking to get the hole patched before we moved in the following week and were going to make a decision pretty quickly. Long story short that was the last I ever heard from him. Several calls, emails, and absolutely nothing. Guess Im not important enough to them, Ill take my business elsewhere. more

The Varsity staff is courteous and professional. I had the interior of my house painted and they consulted with me on a daily basis regarding what room I wanted painted first etc. AT the end of the day they reviewed what had been accomplished and kept me informed regarding their schedule for the next day's work. Excellent company - would recommend them. more

They did efficient work but didn't follow through. 5/11/2010

Varsity Painting was very helpful in a lot of ways. They did a lot of preparation work for a very tough job. They did a fair job with the work; it may have been impossible to do a perfect job. The painters were efficient, showed up when they said, and did a workman-like job. However, it definitely started out better than it ended up. After it was done there were several small things that they hadn't finished, like taking away their sign and some window work, and I couldn't get a hold of them. It was as if they had disappeared, and even though I am sure they were busy, I had a hard time with that. Definitely make sure to monitor the job. more

Good service and great color suggestions. 5/6/2010

I had Varsity Painting do the outside of my house, including trim, one summer, and the next year they did some interior painting. The interior painting included a lot of doors. They really did a good job. The workers showed up consistently every day, and worked continually throughout the day. They also cleaned everything up. I'm very happy with how it looks. They also did a great job by suggesting the right color red for the door, and even suggested coordinating it with the shutters. People comment on how well it turned out. I really felt that giving such good suggestions gave an added value to the service. more

Professional all around. 5/4/2010

I found Varsity Painting very professional all around. I was recommended to them by another firm, and out of the 3 quotes we received their price was very reasonable. We had them paint the entire exterior of our house. From the moment of the estimate until the end, they spent a lot of time telling me about the process and what was involved. The entire crew was at the house on time and worked hard all day. They were clean as well. I am very happy, and the service was good. more
