I had the misfortune of being referred by my PCP to Dr. Bailey. The service was simply ATROCIOUS.\r
\r
I made an appointment approximately 30 days in advance. There were 3 business failures on their part:\r
\r
1. My insurance company sent them the special documentation necessary to see an out of network doctor. My insurance company did not have endocrinologist that could see me in the next 30 days, and so allowed a ""gap exception"" where they agreed to pay Dr. Bailey directly. They sent me a letter and CC'd me on the correspondence. THEY LOST THIS VITAL DOCUMENTATION.\r
\r
No big deal.\r
\r
2. They stated they were going to send me an email with documentation I needed to fill out prior to the appointment. THEY NEVER FOLLOWED UP.\r
\r
No big deal.\r
\r
3. They stated that they would secure my medical history from my PCP. My PCP states that they sent this information. They don't have it. THEY LOST MY MEDICAL RECORDS.\r
\r
THEY LOST MY MEDICAL RECORDS. THAT'S A BIG DEAL.\r
\r
The rude old lady at the front desk did not greet me, made me wait for five minutes while she made a personal telephone call, argued with me, and was completely UNHELPFUL, completely UNKNOWLEDGABLE, and COULD NOT UNDERSTAND simple questions.\r
\r
She then had the nerve to ask if I would like to schedule another appointment. Frankly, I'd prefer to live the rest of my life with my grossly underactive thyroid than deal with the level of service I received again.
Pros: Um....
Cons: Rude, unhelpful, unknowledgable, disorganized, terrible service
