This place is just what the neighborhood needed! Since Vareli opened, my husband and I have visited about once a week.. usually Friday nights for the awesome sangria special - $12 for a caraffe of super yummy white wine sangria with chunks of stawberries and mango. The atmosphere is cool as well - looks like the inside of a wine barrel, if that makes any sense.. like a Mediterranean wine bar, mix between rustic and cool.. The dips appetizer comes with great bread that we love! The lamb burger is very good. Didn't love the veg sandwich, and they could use a few more menu items, as you can exhaust the list pretty quickly once you visit a few times. However, most dishes we've tried have been very good so far. The service has also been great - the servers we've had in the past seem to remember us and make a point to welcome us back, even if they're not our server for that meal.. Attentive, knowledgeable of the menu, but not rushed at all. Love this place!
