Like most of the other reviews say this place really is terrible. I looked at a 2007 4runner there and they said it had nothing wrong with it, and they had inspected it. I took it to firestone before I would buy it and they said it needed the front struts replaced, and as a result could not be properly aligned and was causing uneven tire wear. 1500 dollars including new tires. I faxed this information to the sales manager and he conceded they knew but had no ethical duty to inform me. He offered me 500 dollars off and free mats. I agreed and said I would come and pick it up in an hour or two. I arrived an hour later and they had sold it. The sales manager said he was in a meeting and did not know, but at this dealership every sale must be signed by the sales manager. Obviously he was lying to me and just sold it to someone who would pay full price. He followed me out and I spotted the couple who had just purchased the 4runner and informed them of the problems. He lost his temper and berated me in front of all his customers, and claimed I was ""trying to ruin his business"". The couple returned the 4runner after I showed them the report from firestone. I declined to purchase the car from such a terrible dealer. Don't help these people stay in business, stay away. more

I buy cars every couple of years and Vandergriff was the absolute worst experience EVER. They lie, they cheat and they steal. I would advise you to RUN (not walk) in the other direction and go to another dealership ... you will be thankful you did!!!!! more

went to by a used car n guy who was helping me didnt care to sell the car instead he was busy texing his friends told him if he could open the car i liked and he said that dont waste his time n get out of the place asap. if you want shitty service then go to this place . atully i was warned by one of my friend about their service but didnt care next time i diff have to here wat other ppl has to say about the place. diff not recommand this place at all .... more

Best Dealer in DFW! 5/8/2010

I purchased a brand new 2010 Toyota Prius back in November 2009 from this awesome dealership. I received outstanding service from their sales team and management. Not once did I feel pressured into to purchasing anything I did not thing I needed; however, after listening to their professional finance producer explain all of their products, I really understood the necessity for an extended service contract. \r \r I accidently left my interior lights on one night which resulted in the battery dying by the next day. WIthing 30 minutes, I had a very nice techinican come to my home and repair the problem right there on the spot within minutes. I was so impressed. I wasn't even late to work. \r \r This is the first Toyota that I have ever owned and it won't be the last. I will definetely purchase it from Vandergriff again as well. They impressed me with their extreme knowledge about the technical & mechanical aspects of the Toyota product, their sales team are professional. friendly and approachable and finally. their finance department were professional and gave me many options regarding the financing of my vehicle.\r \r Thanks Vandergriff for the wonderful experience. I recently purchased a new 2010 Toyota Camry after looking around for a while. I'm glad I waited. I got a great deal and never felt pressured to buy. What made it unique or special? I was looking for a new car. I thought about different makes and based on reputation stopped in a Toyota dealership. Upon my arrival I was acknowledged and greeted with a smile. I test drove two different cars and with the guidance of Ronnie Whitlock opted to get a 2010 Camry SE. I love the car, it is a smooth ride, it gets great gas mileage compared to my previous vehicle, and I feel safe driving it on the raods. \r \r Overall, I recommend this dealership because they are customer oriented, are knowledgeable about their product, have a great number of different models and colors to choose from, and they offer complimentary coffee! \r \r Thank you again.\r Pros: Courtesy and Professionalism Cons: Not enough people know about this place! more
