The New Talents Are Very Affordable 12/29/2005

Going to Van Michaels New Talent division was a treat. A hair cut costs $22 and up and the New Talents are usually trained for at least a two years period before they up their prices, so they do have really good training and techniques even though they are not considered a master stylist. The environment was very interesting and they carry Aveda products which are fabulous. They truly take care of you from the moment you walk in the door. I will continue to get my hair cut at this location, it was an extremely good experience. more

Top Salon 10/7/2005

I found Van Michael's Salon to be wonderful. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and a clean and attractive environment. Conveniently located in the mall make it that much better - you can easily combine a visit to the salon with shopping or eating! About average in price for nicer type salons and the prices vary by the leve of experience the stylist has. more

Great service, Great quality 9/28/2005

Overall, a very upscale, high class salon. But, you pay for it. Hair cuts for men are about twice as expensive as you would pay at the other Great Clips types of places. Service is very good; they make sure the customer is happy. Also, your hair always mysteriously looks amazing after the haircut. Yet for me, it disappears once I go home and rinse. Being a male, I don't really need to go to a salon like this, but it's nice to be pampered once in a while. more

They're fantastic! 8/7/2005

I have been going to Van Michaels salon for well over a year and have never been unhappy with my services. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted and asked if you need something to drink. The building is modern and very light. This location has a new talent division which has haircuts starting at $25 and highlights at around $65. They also have some extremely talented 'real' stylists who regularly travel in order to perfect their techniques. The salon uses and sells Aveda products and has eyebrow/makeup people as well. Very good salon. more
