I recently purchaced a vehicle from Van Meter Auto Sales. After having it only 4 days the check engine light came on. With no warenty from the dealer I took it to my repair place. They problem that caused the light was a bad sensor which I understand that could happen anytime. But more importantly they found something much worse that could have cause my family to be in a major accident. They told me the lower ball joint and bearings were so worn that the whole wheel could come off at anytime and traveling at high speeds would cause the vehicle to flip. When contacting the dealership after finding the news they argued the price of repair and blamed us for going somewhere other than them. They offered a small payment not even equal to half of the bill. Then when we tried to pick up the check they had misplaced it and we had to go back the next day.
