Ok, we all call it something different... for me it's VC Boutique. The reality is, it's one of those places that many refuse to admit they shop in (personally I love it and proud of it) but somehow always seem to find a bargain in.
My favorite department is the housewares. They have awesome deals on such things as pillows, curtains, towels, and my favorite candles. I am a candle freak and would often spend upwards of $10 on a candle without batting an eye but now that $10 gets me 2 or 3 candles that not only are nice sized but smell wonderful and burn wonderfully!
The only 'set back' of Value City is that it's very hit and miss. You may go in one day and find a ton of great deals with a bunch of great items to chose from in your size and style of clothing and then the next week go in to find nothing. They get close-outs and special buy outs so they rarely have the same stuff over and over. But that's also why you can buy an Anne Klein for 60% off the list price, Vans for 1/2 off the regular price and so on. They carry tons of name brands at drastically reduced prices.
You can walk out with an outfit of name brand items for a fraction of the cost of what you would pay at the mall or elsewhere. The tons of buses in the parking lot every weekend are there for a reason!!!! The tourists know about our great asset, you should too!!!! Shop the VC Boutique... ok, Value City!
