Received a Groupon for $40 this past Christmas. It was set to expire on 5/2/12, so we decided to go on 5/1 because it was misplaced in a drawer.
If you're going to run a seat-yourself restaurant, at least have the chalkboard at the main entrance read that. Instead, the employees see you standing there and don't say a thing. The employee, owner, whatever, who was sitting at a table with his wife and kids, continually eating shrimp poppers or something, would periodically get up and clean a table...Way after parties of 2-3 (including myself) had to sit at larger tables. Not to mention the fact the guy would spray the tables, including the salt and pepper shakers, and halfway wipe the tables clean.
The food comes out and is disappointing because the ""dinners"" are so small. And the side salads? I suppose you can define a salad as some shredded lettuce thrown into a cup with a slice of tomato on top.
The seafood was ok, not fantastic, compared to more reasonably priced seafood places with more portions. I just got the feeling the staff was annoyed that the place was full of customers using groupons. Waste of my gas money.
