Valley Plaza Mall has been around for quite a while and I've been going here since I was a child. I've seen stores come and go over the years but there are still many, many, MANY stores and the mall is always packed during peak hours. I like coming to the mall because I can find almost everything I need, under one roof! Clothing, health food, shoes, gifts, lotions, haircuts & more! A store for everything on my list.
I love going to the mall when they have sales going on because most stores in the mall are having a sale of some sort and I can get many great deals. Yes, I will not lie to you, it gets really busy when they're having sales (such as Labor Day Sales, Black Friday which is the day after Thanksgiving, The Day After Christmas sale, etc.) but go right when they open to try to beat some of the crowds. Some of my favorite stores in the mall are:
* Fashion Bug which is a plus size clothing store full of stylish (and truthfully some not so stylish) clothing for the bigger woman!
*Hallmark: I love Hallmark. It's a really neat store full of wonderful greeting cards and other collectibles. But I really like it when they have their Christmas Ornaments out, I want to buy all of them!
*Suncoast: Movies, movies, and more movies! Buy DVD's to your hearts content. You can even order special stuff not in the store!
If you get hungry, the mall has a huge food court, even the picky eater will be sure to find something to eat here with choices like Burgers, Taco Bell, Pizza, Chinese, Japanese and more!
So really...if you're going shopping and it's sales you want, why would you go somewhere else? Valley Plaza has department stores, a food court and many other stores. Also in the same area is Target, so you can keep your shopping to one area and save on gas!
