Dishonest and unprofessional 11/27/2011

The Tyrkas who run this business do not keep their word, and run a dishonest business. The promised me $1600 in supposed 'rebates' after I bought an entire appliance package from them. It has been 6 months, and I have seen nothing. I have over 30 unanswered emails asking about it, and get no response. I called the store (all three locations), and am put on hold, only to eventually be told no one is there and no one can help me. I was left in the lurch for two and a half months waiting for my appliances to be delivered, and NOT ONCE did they initiate contact with me to update me on delays. I had to track them down every time to try to get any information about the appliances I was already paying for but had never seen. They promised they would correct the overcharge for a replacement stove, and they promised to re-set the no-interest finance period to the actual ship date because the delay was so long. They never did either of those things. I feel like they lied to my face and had no intention of making things right. I have reported them to the BBB - they never responded to my complaint. Now I am having to sue to get my money back. It is just really unfortunate that people are that dishonorable. I hope you all take your business elsewhere and deal with people who know how to run an honest business. more

Worst Customer Service EVER. 4/30/2011

I bought Frigidaire washing machine FTF2140FE for $540 including shipping. I waited nearly a week to receive an invoice, I end up getting an invoice for $575 for Frigidaire washing machine FTF-530FS, which has an MSRP value over $200 less than the one ordered, isn’t available in my color, has half the load capacity, half the wash cycles, and isn’t the washing machine ordered. I emailed the person sending me the invoice (Steve Tyrka) and received no response. I called their 800 number and was told I would receive a call back. I emailed the original “salesperson,” Tim Tyrka on 4/7/11 and was told that he would get back to me. No response. Called yet again…again told that I would get a call back. I did not. I emailed to see what was going on with the washing machine, informing him that if the situation was not rectified, I would be filing a complaint with the BBB because I was waiting for weeks! I was given the option of receiving a refund or receiving the washing machine. I opted for the washing machine and was informed that it would arrive early next week. I requested that Tim contact me to inform me when the item shipped so I would know when to expect it, but to cease all non-purchase contact because he is awful. I paid for the item, and they should fulfill their contractual obligations by providing me with the washing machine instead of sending me emails expecting me to have sympathy for poor work ethics. I’m sick of people working in customer service with the people skills of a lobotomized donkey. When called on the error, I end up having to explain why I placed the order with them?! On what planet is a salesperson permitted to interrogate a customer? As an added bonus, this debacle resulted in Tim Tyrka, apparently an owner of this morally reprehensible company, informing me that he was in my area, specifically telling me that he was 45 minutes from my home and knew where I lived. If that isn't creepy, I don't know what is. Don't waste your time trying to save money with these morons. more
