Torta sandwiches arrive on crusty white bolillo bread and tacos come delivered in tin foil for less than $2. Fillings include authentic specialties like beef tongue among the more predictable steak, pork and chicken. The barbacoa (goat) taco is stuffed with shredded, heavily-seasoned and fall-off-the-bone meat and tastes like a barbecue sandwich with cilantro and onion. Service is super-friendly and thankfully bilingual--eager to guide the non-Spanish speaking customers. The authenticity of this little spot is miles away from El Azteca and other Atlanta Tex-Mex chains and is certainly worth the trek to the 'burbs.
