A dentist is a dentist, right? Never cared before. As long as their cleaner (forgot the right term), cleans my teeth and they don't cost me any money (insurance pays all, right?), they are good in my eyes, right?\r
WRONG! wow, didn't realize what a difference until you need it. I was in a car accident and my front teeth were knocked out and felt horrible about how I got fixed up and was embarassed about my teeth, so I did some research and discovered there is a big difference in each dentist's capabilities, but you wouldn't know it unless it matters. There's no specialties in these areas and the way the oral surgeon put me together and the way the dentist made me look was plain awful. I've got no money for expensive stuff, but when I got to Dr. ivan's, I found out he could fix me up better and better looking with a lot less money than I thought, though i found out he was at least 10% higher. I wish I could post pictures because it is night and day the way I was fixed before and the way I am now. Dr Ivan gave me back my smile. When it matters, and now I realize my teeth matter, you have to find a dentist that has some capabilities. I found out that even my regular care and cleanings can be done in a better environment, with people that are even more attentive, and done with better techniques and materials. In fact, I never knew I had ground down my teeth 40% at 40 years of age. My dentist never told me! And Dr. Ivan showed me how awful my fillings looked, even though I don't see them, I want my toothies to be as good as poss. I mean, how many sets of teeth do we get? I am now a smile expert and telling everyone about this. Most people cannot possibly know how average their dentist is until they need a good one!
Pros: Didn't know there was such a difference!
Cons: Fees are about 10% higher
