Disappointing! 3/1/2010

The service was good but my main course was cold after it was sent back it had just been microwaved and was then overcooked, the management didn't care and made no offer to replace or refund the VERY over priced meal. We are real foodies but will not be returning to Valbella. Great pitty! Pros: Good Service Cons: Overpriced, cold food more

nice experience 7/11/2008

After our really bad experience in eastchester, we came here. Totally a different world. Nice food and nice service.\r Will definately come back. Pros: tasty food, Cons: on the expensive more

The atmosphere combined with fantastic food makes this experience spectacular! 1/30/2007

Everything about our visit to Valbella was terrific. The waitstaff are very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were a party of 12 and there wasn't one person disappointed with their choice from appetizer through dessert. And because it was a special birthday, our waiter, Max, made up a mixture of desserts for all to sample. We can't wait to go back! Pros: ambience, service, attention to details more

Fairfield County Italian Gem 11/22/2005

Valbella easily stacks up to New York's finest high end Italian establishments. After going there based on many locals recommendations, my husband and I decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. Every course from the antipasto to espresso was excellent and perfectly balanced in flavor and in authentic Italian style. The wait staff is plentiful so they are available for you but they stand back which allows you to enjoy your meal and private conversation. Also, if you are into wines - their catalog is nothing short of astounding (some 45 pages long). Best to ask the sommelier for help. This is not a place for flashy fashions but most men wore jackets. Pros: Wine list, Food, Atmosphere Cons: Slightly overpriced, Small bar more

A truly GREAT restaurant 4/6/2005

The food is amazing, the service is perfect, the setting is romantic, an overall 10 out of 10. The prices are on the high side but you get your money's worth for sure. Don't miss Valbella, it's worth the trip out from Manhattan. And if you are anywhere in CT make a reservation and go. Regis Philbin is a regular as well as many other celebs. But go for the food and the beautiful surrondings. Pros: Food, Service, Ambiance more

The best around 3/9/2003

If you haven't come here you are missing out. The service is impeccable and owner, David will make sure your meal is great. Try to get a reservation downstairs in the newly redone wine celler. it is exquisite. With thousands of botlles at decent prices, take a date, your wife, or a group for a great time. And don't miss out on the Chilean Sea Bass, its amazing. more
