Irene does the most amazing highlights you have ever seen--they grow out beautifully so you don't feel ugly in between touch-ups. I get so many compliments on both my cut and color . No one can interpret what you want like Irene--she does exactly what you ask(but better!) more

Best hair salon in town!! 4/23/2007

I can?t possibly say enough great things about Irene. I?ve been going to her for about 4 years now and would never let another person touch my hair. She?s such a phenomenal colorist that everyone thinks my hair color is natural. Who am I to disagree with them? If you?re looking for the best in the business, definitely check Irene out. You won?t be disappointed!! Pros: coloring & cutting skills Cons: can't think of any more

Irene Rocks As Always!!! 2/24/2006

Irene just did a Keratin Complex smoothing treatment on my friend's hair that was AMAZING. I luckily don't have frizzy or damaged hair, but I recommended Irene to my friend because her hair needed a little love. She came out with the shiniest, softest hair EVER! It looks so much healthier than it ever has and she said it's so much easier to style. Run in and ask Irene for a Keratin treatment. You won't be sorry. And apparently there's one especially for blondes, too. Just another reason to recommend Irene!! Pros: The perfect hair everytime. more

The Vaksberg Salon is a trendy mix of old and new. Irene's ability to know just what cut or color worked best for my hair type was very honest and right on. I have gotten the most compliments ever on my hairstyle, color and highlights. The salons prices are a bargain and you can't beat the atmosphere. The salon is minutes away from The Grove and Farmers Market where you can meet a friend and show off the new DO!!! Pros: resonable, free parking, atmosphere more

Irene is such an amazing find! I recently moved here from Colorado and was reluctant about finding a new hairdresser that I could trust. A co-worker referred me to Irene and my hair has never looked better! Her salon itself is gorgeous, conveniently located behind The Grove near Beverly & Fairfax, and not outrageously priced like most LA salons. Truly a diamond in the rough... more
