Great doctor. 3 generations went to him for over 25 years. Sadly, we do not go there any more. HORRIBLE STAFF: 1. All patients' identity stolen last year. We each received a letter 8 months after it happened. Zip drive with our socials, insurance information, etc. stolen from the office. Why is our info on a zip drive? Why not locked up? Why let us know far after the fact? 2. Given expired samples. 3. Line built up at check-in while staff ordered take-out on the phone. 4. I had 11:30 appointment. Couldn't schedule follow-up because staff on lunch. Office manager was there but didn't know how to schedule me or what laser schedule was. When I helped her out with something, she said ""Oh, you're great. I should give you a job."" 5. Kept on hold 7 minutes one time, 8 minutes the other. 6. Staff spoke poorly of other patients in front of me. \r

Here's the clencher: I called after our identity was stolen. Spoke to office manager, who said identity theft from doctors'offices ""happens all the time."" When I mentioned I was a long-time patient with concerns and relayed to her what I had experienced, she simply said: ""I' haven't received any complaints."" Not even a cursory ""I'm sorry."" Sadly, I had to vote with my feet. It's been a year, and my new dermatologist is still trying to get my file transferred over from their office. \r

I'm really easy to please, grateful for the service I get, and never write any reviews, much less bad ones. I cut people slack. But this is unacceptable. Dr. Vacarro, I will miss you and your conservative treatment, friendly manner, years of friendship with our family. But your staff is sucking your practice dry! You lost 7 patients of 3 generations with our family alone.\r

Dismiss my review as an anomaly? Crazy rant? Enjoy sharing your expired medications and social security number. And please let me know when the staff gets better. I'll promptly return to my dear Dr. Vaccaro.
