Not good at all. We had our family Golden go in for possible ear mites, they hurt the dog flushing his ears and hearing was never the same. This vet took the place of a long time Vacaville veterinarian, and should have stayed where he was. more

THIS GUY IS HORRIBLE! ALL HE WANTS IS MONEY!!! I had a pet Lab who happened to be suffering from old age, literally incontinent and very feeble. We suggested she be put to sleep, but Dr. A. kept suggesting we keep her on medication and basically let her suffer. We didn't notice at the time, really. However, after finding her drowned in the pool. yeah. that could of all be avoided if we hadn't listened to this idiot. DR. A IS HORRIBLE! more

Best Vet ever!!!! 2/21/2013

I would give a higher rating if it was offered. Dr. A is simply put the very best vet ever in the world hands down! I've read several reviews on different site and am blown away when I see a less than perfect! I've seen other vets that practice assembly line vet help have no clue whats going on. Dr. A goes above and beyond he cares very deeply about animals which is obvious by the visible cat hanging out up front and dogs in back if he finds an animal that been hit and left he takes operates does all he can to save them and keeps them at home and office. He does not care more about $$$ than animals as some on ther pages have mentioned! Infact he is the only vet in his practice cause he wants quality care vs. quantity. I've seen him personally adjust in the computer coded prices to make a treatment affordable on more than one occasion. He has also done things things that were bothering both of us free of charge, i.e., I took my dog to another vet from the time I got her was prescribed more

Wonderful Vet 7/13/2010

Dr A is wonderful. We moved away from Vacaville but still use him as our vet, even though he is 20 miles away. We have 4 dogs and they love him. He is a total animal person...you can tell that he is interested in the animals and genuinely cares about them. I wouldn't go anywhere else. more

Dr. A is Awesome 9/11/2008

I've been taking my cat and dog to Dr. A for seven years. He remembers my pets by name and he loves and pets them when he sees them. He truly loves animals and that is what is most important. On several occasions Dr. A and his staff have squeezed me in when no appointments were available because I had a sick pet. They have stayed late for emergencies when my dog was injured. They don't only treat your pet medically, they love your pet and understand your love for your pet. I highly recommend Vacaville Pet Vet Clinic to anyone with a pet! more

Being the first time I brought one of my pets for surgery, I was nervous as well as did not want to be taken for a financial ride. Pros: Staff members, comfort level, clean office, informitive, CARING Cons: NONE more

My dog is well and happy which makes me happy!!! 2/1/2008

I am very happy with my decision to change hospitals! The doctor at this hospital is very informative and knows what he is talking about. I have been through several vets for my dog's one problem, and he figured out right away what needed to be done. And the results were more than expected. I recommend this hospital highly! The hospital is very clean, the staff is also informative and helpful. The prices are good compared to my previous bills from other vets...for the same problem!! It shows that he cared more about what was wrong with my pet then how much money I had in my pocket. I was very pleased to see that my dog felt so comfortable around him at his first visit. (to me, he resembles that dog whisperer!) So again, i recommend this hospital! more

Great service! 2/1/2008

I was very happy to have moved to a new veterinary hospital and veterinarian. This hospital is very clean. Seriously, it doesn't even smell like animals! The docor was very informative and was very well educated in what he does. The prices are good and the assistants and techs are very nice and socialable. I would definatly recommend attending this hospital cause you will get what you pay for, without being "jerked around" for your money. Previously I was paying my old vet for a problem with my dog that never seemed to go away, as soon at the Pet Vet Dr came into the room he figured out something right away and started my pets treatment and surely a week later my pet was pretty much back to normal. I was very happy with my experince at this hospital and it's staff. Pros: Great prices, nice staff, shows the concerns for animals and not how much you have in your pocket! good location, very informative. Cons: none! more

Very Happy Client 11/17/2007

Dr. A. is a very good dr. All my animals see him and he has always given 1000% of his time. I have a sick pet I go even month he calls her by her name an he is always reading upon on new drugs for her too. He is a good listener too. He will listen to what you have to say and look it up on the p.c. he is one of the best vets in town. My animals love to see Dr. A all the time. more

Smart Doc 9/2/2007

On a Friday I took my dogs to Vacaville pet vet. The vet, Dr A is a little hard to understand. His English isn?t that great. But, he?s very good at what he does. In one visit he seen all my dogs and took very good care of them. My dogs are 1, 15 and 16. He made sure I fully understood my dogs? pills and everything. The staff is not the great they seem stressed, rude and over worked. more
