Vacation Property Management

Doesn't cater to families with teenagers. I had a family of 6 staying in the 2 bedroom They only gave me four towels and when I asked for more, they refused and said I had enough towels. I took my four kids to the pool and the management had a fit within 15 minutes. We quickly left and decided to go the next day when it was empty. I invited a friend and her kids to visit with me and the office said it would be okay to let them swim but they quickly harassed us out of the pool again. Since I wasn't able to share the pool with my guests I decided to take them up to the room so we could eat instead of using the huge entertaining BBQ area in the back. We were celebrating a birthday so we had dinner, cake and watched a movie. The toilet overflowed at midnight and the lady who runs the place came to fix it instead of a maintenance person. She made the problem worse and water rushed out and she was standing in one inch deep sewage water and looked so shocked when I asked to change rooms. She complained I had guests in my room and accused me of harboring extra people. I assured the woman we only were visiting with friends. I felt completely unwelcome and I am very disappointed I booked it for 3 nights. After my friends left I enjoyed the island the rest of the weekend and met many of the other tenants and locals. This island is awesome but not the management of this particular resort. I painted on the beach and rented a boat for my last day there. My husband and I decided that we would return again but not invite guests to enjoy the amenities with us. When we walked into the office, they said that Gloria didn't want to see us and wanted nothing to do with us. We were told to never come back again because they didn't like us. I have never been disrespected or mistreated by a hospitality business like this in my life. They treated us like trespassers after we asked to bring in guests. I paid $175 a night and the LED sign out front says summer rates are $99 per night. They said not to come back and I should book Tradewinds more

Smugglers Cove is a wonderful location on the inner coastal. Walk across the road and you have access to the PRIVATE beach. A wonderful resort! more

If you are looking for a timeshare then definately give Smugglers Cove a look around. The complex is roughly ten years old and the units are very nice and tastefully decorated. The location is directly across from the beach with easy access to the gulf. They also have a lovely pool if you are in the mood for a dip or just want to lay out and get a tan. more
